Steven Schachtman
As Principal, Steven is active in all aspects of real estate management, directing the administration and operations of Steven Scott's 6300+ apartment units. He is very active in government and legislative issues having served on the State Housing Court Advisory Committee and the Northwest Co-Op Community Housing Initiative organization's Board of Directors. Steve is also a member of the Minneapolis Real Estate Licensing Board of Appeals, a past president of the Minnesota Multi-Housing Association and a recognized industry speaker on housing issues. In addition to a business degree, he is a licensed real estate agent. Steven also holds Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) and Certified Residential Manager (CRM) designations. In 2007, Steven's leadership earned Steven Scott Management Inc. the first MHA Company honored Presidential Award for outstanding leadership and dedication. Steven was also individually recognized by MHA when they awarded him their 2002 MADACS President's Award and their 2008 MHA Lifetime Achievement Award.

Scott Bader
As Principal, Scott is responsible for new development and corporate growth and since 1980 has been responsible for the development and construction of over 30 multi-family projects, ten commercial retail centers, and three single-family developments. He believes the key to successful real estate development is anticipating trends that can be incorporated into the lifestyle being created for the community. In addition to his experience as a practicing attorney, Scott is a licensed real estate broker.

Barbara Halverson
As Director of Asset Management, Barbara is responsible for overseeing the management of the company's 6300+ rental portfolio and supervising management staff in both the corporate office and on-site. Barbara is also responsible for working with Steven Scott Development from the inception of each project to ensure its successful marketing and management. Her 30+ years of industry expertise are key in implementing training, education programs, managing employee incentive programs, and marketing the company's properties and management services. Barbara is a licensed real estate agent, and past treasurer and board member of the Minnesota Multi-Housing Association.

Sid Bader
With 45 years of experience in real estate development and management, Sid’s expertise is invaluable in new development and acquisition of existing rental properties, both locally and nationally. He heads up the firm’s financing and refinancing areas and is extremely knowledgeable about government and associated programs and creative-refinancing opportunities. Sid is a licensed real estate broker.

Mark Jensen
As CFO, Mark is responsible for all property accounting functions and financial statement reporting. He joined Steven Scott Management in 1987 and was appointed to his present position eight years later. Mark works closely with owners to maximize the operating efficiency and plan the financial future of each property. He has extensive experience in implementing management policies and procedures, and integrating new technologies. Mark holds a B.A. degree in Economics with a minor in accounting.
